The Rodengo-Luson Alp
… one of the largest high plateaus in Europe, offers endless opportunities for hikers and (e-)MTB fans. A real highlight: the Dolorama long-distance trail, which takes you across 61 km and four stages through stunning landscapes – from the Sass de Putia via the Odle peaks to Laion. Prefer a more peaceful stroll? Then the Schöpfungsweg (Path of Creation) is ideal – a 6.4 km walking route past eight artistic stations with biblical motifs. More into mountain biking? Then the tour to the Starkenfeld and Rastner mountain huts is definitely worth it.
Discover Rodengo
… best done on a relaxed walk. The Bienenweg (Bee trial) leads you into the fascinating world of bees and beekeeping, while the Village tour takes you on a journey through the charming hamlets of Vill, Gifen, Nauders and San Paolo. For a slightly longer but easy hike, the Rienza Gorge route is perfect – a 14 km trail that follows the wild Rienza river. And for adventurers both big and small the Forest Adventure Trail is a true highlight: balance across logs, conquer exciting play stations, and listen to frogs at the natural pond – fun for the whole family!

The idyll of the Val di Valles
… is known far beyond the borders of South Tyrol – after all, the Malga Fane is considered the most beautiful alpine village in the region. No neon signs, no artificial attractions await you here, just the very best of what nature has to offer: untouched landscapes, mountain panoramas and unspoilt charm. It’s especially family-friendly to reach the alp via the “Latte Trail”.
The Valle Altafossa
… near Maranza offers a variety of impressive views. Highly recommended: a leisurely alpine hike through the valley, with a stop at the Kneipp water therapy area and a break at the Wieserhütte or the Pranter Stadlhütte. Fancy more? Then continue on foot to Lago di Seefeld (2,275 m) or explore the valley by mountain bike.
